Group Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Ong Shau Soo (“Mr. Ong”) was appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer of the Company on 1 July 2018. He is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of the Group.

Mr. Ong began his career in the banking industry in 1991 and has held various roles in the Corporate and Commercial Banking Division. After he left the banking industry in 2010, he joined several property development and construction companies as chief executive officer and director.

Mr. Ong holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (Honours) from Universiti Utara Malaysia.

YONG SIE HOONG

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Yong Sie Hoong (“Mr. Yong”) was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Company on 16 October 2023. He is responsible for overseeing the accounting, financial management, investor relations, legal and

risk management of the Group as well as assisting the Company in the planning and implementation of the Group’s business strategies.

He has more than 26 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, business planning, corporate finance and business analytics. He started his career in 1998 as external auditors with Deloitte Malaysia and KPMG Singapore. He subsequently held various positions in finance capacities in the construction, telecommunication, information technology and manufacturing industries.

Mr. Yong is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA), Australia. He holds a Bachelors of Commerce (Accounting) from Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia

NG BOON HONG

Chief Operating Officer, GRP Sdn. Bhd.

Mr. Ng Boon Hong (“Mr. Ng”) joined GRP Sdn. Bhd. on 1 June 2011 as a General Manager. On 1 April 2017, he was promoted to the Chief Operating Officer and is currently responsible for the operations of GRP

Sdn. Bhd., which involves manufacturing of chemical products.

His past engagement from the General Manager to Executive Director in the paint and coating industries for more than 15 years, coupled with his marketing experience in a subsidiary of diversified conglomerate prompted him to step into the chemical operations of the Group without much fuss.

Mr. Ng holds a Bachelor of Management (Technology) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

WONG KHEE WOON

Chief Operating Officer,
Kumpulan Jebco (M) Sdn. Bhd.

Mr. Wong Khee Woon (“Mr. Wong”) first joined Kumpulan Jebco (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“Jebco”) in 2001 as an Engineer of Research and Development (R&D) to lead the design section of Jebco. He then established the R&D

Department in Jebco, which focuses on new product development and commercialisation of projects.

On 1 April 2014, Mr. Wong was appointed as the General Manager of Group Business and Technical Department to support the manufacturing operations in Yangzhou, China before rejoining Jebco in January 2016, to oversee the overall operations of Jebco. He has extensive experience in providing solutions in design engineering for the automotive industry.

Mr. Wong holds a Bachelor of Technology (Polymer) from Universiti Sains Malaysia.

CHIN YON YEE

Assistant General Manager, Jebplus Sdn. Bhd.

Mr. Chin Yon Yee (“Mr. Chin”) started his career at Kumpulan Jebco (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“Jebco”) on 15 April 1998 as Production Planner Supervisor. In the year 2002, he was promoted to the position of Production Engineering Executive, in charge of process improvement.

He had been promoted to HOC of Manufacturing Operation and Production, in charge of overall

production management, quality assurance, quality & environmental system, engineering & maintenance and LPS in 2012. In 2018, he was transferred to the Technical Center, taking charge of product design, mould engineering & machine maintenance, project development and management.

On 1 July 2019, Mr. Chin was promoted to Assistant General Manager in Jebco.

After 24 years working in Jebco, Mr. Chin was transferred to Jebplus Sdn. Bhd. (“Jebplus”) on 1 November 2022, and lead Jebplus with his experience in Jebco by applying all his knowledges to Jebplus to ensure its success.

Mr. Chin holds a Diploma in Material Engineering from Tunku Abdul Rahman College Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and a Postgraduate Diploma of Rubber & Plastic Technology from Rubber Research Institute of Malaysia.
